Julie: If you could take six months off, what would you do?
David: I’d spend time at home and write my next book.
Julie: About?
David: The new book will be more of an overview of ashtanga rather than a how - to book. I’d say one student’s journey, instead of a definitive guide to the practice – it’s more thoughts and experiences over the last three decades of ashtanga.
Julie: Is it autobiographical?
David: Part of it would be based on my life. There will also be sections where I may interview or speak with people who have had life changing experiences through the practice of yoga, whether it’s from their health or other aspects of their life that have improved or changed from the practice.
